Help it along
- Dose consistently. Dose on schedule to keep the culture stable.
- Keep it near neutral. A pH around 7 keeps the bacteria comfortable.
- Give it time. Let the biology move through the system before judging results.
- Let it breathe. Airflow and water movement help it spread.
Avoid
- Bleach, Jik and disinfectants. They can kill the culture you have just added.
- Harsh chemicals. Strong acids, bases and harsh detergents slow results.
- Adding boosters. Everything needed is already in the product.
